MARTIN
BROOMFIELD was born in the United Kingdom. He has lived in the UK, Canada, Kenya, Vietnam, and Indonesia and became a Canadian citizen in 2007. Martin originally trained as a Graphic Designer in the business-to-business communication field in the UK. He ran his own graphic design and photographic business for ten years in London.
In the early 1990s, Martin moved into the development field, working in Kenya for two years. in 1994 he relocated to Toronto, Canada, where he worked as an Art Director for a 3D animation company. In 1997 Martin moved to Hanoi, Vietnam where he once again worked in the development field, on projects involving Graphic Design for print, web site production and photography.
Martin started taking photographs in late 1980s and was trained in the "Martin, so you know how to use a camera?" school of photography.
